Mr. Tough Guy—isn't that what he is saying to you?

You have to smile when you see this little guy. What a character! He and his extended chipmunk family were racing and chasing all around the place on that beautiful October day in Bend, Ore.

We were there to take fall pictures—trying to get used to not having our grand old sweet lab, Kandy, with us anymore.

With all of these little critters running around having a “satisfaction´lly, wonderful day” (from Disney´s Zip-a-dee-doo-dah in Song of the South, remember?) how could we have a bad day? How could we not laugh to ourselves, our smiles lingering? And how could we not have great memories adding to the warmth of this bright sunny day?
